Snow showers, hail, sleet and frost are all forecast to return this week.  

It will remain mostly dry on Monday night, but scattered showers will occur.

Tuesday will be cold, blustery day, with a mix of sunny spells and showers. There is also a risk of thundery downpours and showers of sleet on high ground. 

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be cold, with a mix of sunny spells and showers, some heavy and of hail, with a continuing risk of thunder. A few mist or fog patches may occur on Thursday and Friday nights, with light winds.

It is forecast that temperatures will return to normal and there will be a good deal of dry weather with sunny spells at the weekend.
